Lovadawn D. Clift, 93, of Yorktown, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on November 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 20, 1933, in Muncie, Indiana, to Ralph Sr. and Lois (Thompson) Moistner.

Lovadawn was a loving, caring woman who had a special way of making everyone feel like family. She was truly a mom to everyone. She enjoyed crocheting, making hats and dishcloths, shopping, and doing her own nails. She especially loved dancing with her husband, Ted, and the two shared many beautiful moments together. Above all, Lovadawn treasured her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and the generations that followed.

She graduated from Indiana Business College and enjoyed a career working at the County Clerk's Office alongside Sparky Walsh, as well as serving as a secretary and book keeper for Dawson and Son.

Lovadawn is survived by her children: Kendala Parkinson (Mark), Kerry Foster (Kathy), Karva Davis (Larry), and Teresa Horne; two grandsons, seven granddaughters, nine great-grandsons, seven great-granddaughters, two great-great-grandsons, and three great-great-granddaughters, all of whom were a cherished part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ted, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage; her parents, Ralph Sr. and Lois Moistner; three grandsons; two great-grandsons; and her brother, Ralph Moistner Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Fountain Park Cemetery in Winchester, Indiana, with Rev. Mark B. Parkinson officiating on Friday, November 20, 2026.
