Cindy (Craycraft) Harty, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, at IU Ball Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Cindy was born on July 26, 1957, in Muncie, Indiana to Allie and Juanita Craycraft.  She resided in Selma, Indiana, where she served her community on the Selma Town Council.

Cindy graduated from Wapahani High School in 1975 and worked for Delaware County for 38 years.  Cindy was a member of Illuminate Muncie Foursquare Church.  She enjoyed flower arranging, sewing, reading, visiting the beach or family in Louisiana, and spending time with her family.

Cindy lit up a room with her generous spirit and infectious smile.  She was always known for being so kind and caring to everyone she met.  She always had a compliment and thoughtful or encouraging word.  Cindy will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Cindy is survived by her daughter Andrea Harty; parents: Allie Jr and Juanita Craycraft; siblings Cheryl Ziegler (Mike), Steve Craycraft (Lorie), Jeff Craycraft, Carol Beheler (Dan), Gerald Craycraft (Cindy), and Annette Craycraft.  In addition, she is survived by many nieces and nephews, who were all special to her, and her dog Zoe Marie.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Christa Rogers, maternal grandparents Julian and Oralee Vanhoof; and paternal grandparents Allie Sr. and Rose Belle Craycraft.

Services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, starting at 12:30 PM at Illuminate Muncie Foursquare Church, 3101 S. Walnut, Muncie.  Friends may call on the family from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Garden of Memory, north of Muncie.

Due to Cindy being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes during childhood, donations may be made in her memory to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.  Donations may also be made to Illuminate Muncie Foursquare Church.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at Parsonmortuary.com.
