Lyndal "Jack" Reynolds, 71, entered into the presence of the Lord early Tuesday morning August 30, 2022 while at home battling cancer.  Jack was born April 7, 1951, in Byrdstown, TN. to Herman and Geneva Reynolds and was one of 12 siblings.

Jack grew up as a true country boy: working long hours and hard jobs to help support his family.  Growing up in the back hills of Tennessee, Jack first started working at 13 catching slabs at the local sawmill.  He continued to find work wherever he could until he landed in Muncie, Indiana working as a mechanic. Jack moved back to Byrdstown and started his auto shop.  After a fire shut down the Byrdstown auto shop, Jack moved back to the Muncie area and began driving a semi.  Driving a semi was a job that Jack loved.  Driving as an owner-operator with his second wife Phylis, allowed Jack and Phyllis to travel to all 48 contiguous states. Unfortunately, Phyllis was diagnosed with cancer and long-haul semi-driving was no longer possible.  After Phyllis lost her battle with cancer in 1992, Jack started working with his brother Randy at Randy's Auto Sales. In 1997, Jack and Lil bought the "shop" that became Southside Motors.  Jack, Lil, and the entire Southside Motors families loved serving their customers and made life-long memories with them.  Jack and Lil retired and closed the shop in 2018 after 50+ years of being a family-owned business.  After retirement, Jack could be found working in his garden, fishing, playing cards with his best friends, and, of course, still working on the farm for the Hamiltons.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents Herman and Geneva Reynolds, sister Velma "Lerlene" Culberson, brother Therman "Randy" Reynolds, sister Thelma Reynolds, sister Wanda Carter, sister Bonnie Tallent, brother Charlie Ray Reynolds, an infant brother Sheldon Reynolds, and a wife Phyllis Reynolds.

Jack is survived by his wife of 25 years Lil, Patricia Henman mother of their son, Dr. Charles "Chuck" Reynolds, and his wife Rhonda, stepson Jesse (Nicki) Fisher, two grandsons who always brought a smile and light to his face, Gabe and Reggie Reynolds, sister Caroline Karns, Wilma (Perry) Delk, brother Herman Reynolds Jr, brother Jimmy Dale (Deb) Reynolds, the card buddies, and all of his four-legged friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Parson Mortuary with visitation one hour before the funeral and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, September 1, 2022.
