Marcia Lynn Curtis (Jones), age 46, tragically lost her life on or about September 1, 2023.  Marcia was located on September 14, 2023, near the town of Selma, Indiana.  She was born the daughter of Ted Jones and Barbara Stevenson (Hickman), on August 26, 1977.  Marcia attended Muncie Southside High School and later obtained her GED.

Marcia had most recently worked for FCC Indiana, in Portland, Indiana.  Over the years she had also worked with special needs adults, which was her true passion, most notably with Hillcroft Services of Muncie.  Marcia had a genuine love for the people she worked with.

Marcia was described by her daughters as a strong-willed person, who was caring, and gentle, but was not afraid to speak her mind.  She loved nothing more than spending time with her children and her grandchildren.  She loved her "smell good things," watching true crime shows on television, and was a cat whisperer, especially to her own cat, Garfield.

She is survived by her daughters, Ashley and Brittney Ratcliff, three sons, Dakota Ratcliff, Ceaser Curtis II, and Marion Curtis, as well as step-children Johanna and Braddon Curtis.  In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren, Jace Ratcliff and Levi and Eli Davis.  She is also survived by her father Ted Jones.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Stevenson (Hickman).

Services will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, at 10:00 AM, at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery.  Pastor Neal Peterson will officiate.
