Margo Gooch, 65, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born on March 25th, 1957, in Muncie the daughter of Ronald P. and Mary (Goldman) Lindstrom.

Margo graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1975 and later graduated from Ball State University with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.  She spent most of her career teaching in Florida but, had taught in the Hendry County School System prior to her retirement in Clewiston, Fl.  Margo married Martin "Mike" Gooch in 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2020.  Mrs. Gooch enjoyed doing crochet work and being a foster parent for several animals.  She volunteered for the Animal Rescue Group helping to find new homes for the animals.

Survivors include one son, Martin Johnson (Ahnjayla), Shelbyville, Indiana; one stepdaughter, Brandi Gooch, Paris, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Lilly Broughton, Indianapolis; one brother, Bruce Lindstrom, Sarasota, Florida; two sisters, Kathy Harris (James), Springport and Ronda Lindstrom-Goul (David), Yorktown; several nieces and nephews. Two fur babies, Shelby and Opi.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Cremation is being done.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
