Marilyn L. Upchurch, 81, passed away late Thursday evening, August 25, 2022, at the Morrison Woods Health Care Center following an extended illness.  She was born on, February 10, 1941, in Farmland, Indiana the daughter of George and Alice Minnie (Moon) Terrell. Marilyn married the love of her life Charles Upchurch on July 1, 1960, in Muncie and he preceded her in death in 2021.  Mrs. Upchurch was a homemaker for all of her life.  She enjoyed taking care of her home and family, listening to country music, and drinking iced tea. Survivors include three sons, Jeff Upchurch (Kim), Yorktown, Chuck Upchurch (Angela), Brownsburg and Craig Upchurch (Teresa), Muncie; seven grandchildren, Heather, Whitney, Nick, Alyssa, Keaton, Jordan, Blake, and Brittany; thirteen great-grandchildren, Miles, Maxwell, Owen, Dylan, Corbin, Jackson, Jensen, Everly Jo, Adaline, Mia, Grace, Easton, and Berkleigh; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband of 61 years, Charles, she was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 12:00 P.M.  at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Mike Decamp officiating.   Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery.
