Mark Allen Burchett, 60, left this life on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on July 6, 1962, in Muncie the son of Marion and Corene Burchett.

Mark attended Wapahani High school and later married the love of his life, Delphia (Adams) Burchett in February of 1987.  Mr. Burchett had worked as an automotive mechanic for Don Hinds Ford in Fishers, Indiana for 25 years.  He enjoyed collecting guns, fishing, and being outdoors.  His family time was very important to him.

Survivors include two sons, Mark A. Burchett, Jr. (Kayla) and Andrew Burchett (Susan), both of Muncie; two grandchildren, Elijah and Michael, his father, Marion Burchett (Wanda), Muncie; four sisters, Debra Stewart, Colorado, Sandra Lovegrove, Jessica Brosher (Nathan) and Elisha Weaver, all of Muncie; and one brother, Steve (Trisha).  In addition, he leaves behind several nieces and nephews and his best friend of fifty-plus years, Danny Bledsoe.

Besides his wife of 31 years, Delphia, he was proceeded in death by his Mother Corene.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Burchett officiating.  Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 10:00  A.M. until the time of service.  Cremation will follow.
