Mary Lou Stark, 62, went to see her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, May 26, 2022 at her residence following a sudden illness.  She was born in Muncie on November 5, 1959, the daughter of James and Clarabell (Burnett) Reffitt.

Mary Lou and married the love of her life, Steven Stark on June 29, 1976, in Muncie and he survives.  Mrs. Stark worked at for various place throughout the Muncie area, the most recent one being Wal-Mart as a greeter.  She was very family oriented especially concerning her grandchildren.

Besides her husband of 45 years, Steven, she is also survived by one son, Steven DTJ  Stark,  (Brandie), Yorktown and one daughter, Wendy Abbott (Michael), Muncie; eight  grandchildren, Andrew Abbott, Braedon Stark-Abbott, McKenzie Stark, Gavin Abbott, Rees Cook, Hunter Stark, Isaiah Stark and Megan Neal; two sisters, Clara J. Brown and Penny Reffitt , both of Muncie; three brothers, James Reffitt (Cathy), Muncie and Pastor Albert Reffitt (Kimberly), Dayton, Ohio and Billy Joe Reffitt, Muncie; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister-in-law, Diane Stark; one niece, Sondra Stark; two brothers-in law, William D. Brown and Russ Stark; one uncle, Johnny W. Reffitt.

Funeral services will be held at the Full Gospel Temple Worship Center on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastors Denny and John Helton and Albert Reffitt officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.

Friends may call at the Full Gospel Temple 212 W. 7th St. Muncie, IN 47302 on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.
