Michael David McClellan, 69, died Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at his Muncie home. Mike was born November 9, 1953, in Muncie, Indiana to Corbette and Lelah (Watson) McClellan-Jones. In 1972, Mike graduated from Muncie Southside. Mike married Barbara on October 15, 2004. He retired from General Motors in 2005. Mike was an avid volunteer of the Indiana Patriot Guard until his motorcycle wreck in 2014. Before his wreck, Mike helped babysit his grandchildren and was currently helping Barbara raise one of them. Mike is survived by his wife, Barbara, of 18 years, Muncie; stepson Rick Jones, Muncie; stepson Randy Jones Sr., Muncie; stepdaughter Sarah Kadinger (Kris), Muncie; three grandchildren: Randy "Rlee" Jones Jr., Klive Kadinger, & Klaira Kadinger, Muncie; brother-in-law Troy L. Jolley, Indianapolis; mother-in-law Margie Evans, Muncie; father-in-law Troy E. Jolley, Monroe, Tennessee; several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is proceeded in death by his father Corbette McClellan, mother Lelah (Watson) Jones, stepfather Rex Jones, stepbrother Ronnie Jones, and father-in-law Clyde Evans. Mike will be remembered for the love of his grandchildren and baseball. There will be no services per Mike's wishes.
