Patricia Lehman, 84, went to be with her Lord late Tuesday afternoon, November 29, 2022, at the Muncie Estates Health Care Center is formerly known as Elm Croft Living Center following an extended illness. She was born on September 13, 1938, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Opal Marciel Hartley and  Rev. William Donald Hartley. Patricia obtained her G.E.D. from Muncie Community Schools in 1977 and later married the love of her life, Kenneth Lehman in 2006 and he preceded her in death in 2019. Patricia worked for Marsh Supermarket as a deli clerk for 27 years and retired in 2005. Patricia was a member of the Full Gospel Temple and the Glad Tidings Church. She loved gospel and country music. Patricia loved to travel, especially when her husband retired from the Air Force and they traveled to places all over the world. Most of all, she loved being a mother and treasured the time spent with her children and grandchildren. Survivors include 2 daughters, Debbie Smith (Gary), Muncie and Dana Wyatt (David), Muncie; 4 sons, Kevin Ruddick (partner Richard Francis), Richmond, Donnie Ruddick (Stephanie), Muncie, Jack Hyso, Muncie, and Tim Ruddick, Muncie; 2 sisters Bonita Posey (Junior), Yorktown, and Janet Reffitt (Vernon), Florida; a brother; Joe Hartley (Geneva) and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband of 16 years, Kenneth Lehman, she is preceded in death by her parents, Opal Marciel Hartley and Rev. William Donald Hartley; husband Donald Ruddick; 1 son, Mike Hyso (survived by wife Diann), Muncie; 2 sisters Susie and Ruby; 2 brothers Gene and Bob; and granddaughter Kimberly Dishman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7th from 11 am-1 pm at Parson Mortuary. A graveside service will take place after at Gardens of Memory, North of Muncie, with burial to follow.
