Pearly Ann Townsend, 73 passed away Wednesday morning, December 21, 2022, at the Woodlands Health Care Center following an extended illness.  She was born on December 8, 1949, in Jamestown, Tennessee the daughter of Joe Barnett and Maudie West-Barnett Parsons.

Pearly attended Jamestown Schools and is a former member of the Eagles Erie in Muncie, IN.

Survivors include two daughters Terri Sanders, Muncie, and Yalanda Jefferson, Weirton, West Virginia; one son Jason Townsend, Muncie; two sisters, Melba Smith, Cowan, and Wanda Roysden, Jamestown, Tennessee; one brother, Billy Barnett (Shirley) Muncie; three grandchildren Dakota Jefferson, Conner Sanders, and Caitlyn Sanders; and a gaggle of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Barnett and Maudie West-Barnett Parsons; several siblings including Norm Smith and Gene Allen.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at 1 PM at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Paul Werling officiating.  Visitation will also take place on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 from 11 AM at Parson Mortuary until the time of service.   Cremation is to follow.
