Penny G. Quate (Sneed), 65, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on July 22, 2024, after a long battle with an illness. She was born on January 29, 1959, in Muncie, Indiana to Harley and Sadie (Gibson) Sneed.

Penny loved to dance, entertain friends and family, playing bingo, going to concerts, and church, and of course spending time with her family and friends.

Penny is survived by her children, Bobby Rhum Jr. and Rhonda Mae Rhum (Bradley Van Scyoc), 7 grandchildren; Sebastian Rhum, Sadie Mae Rhum, Syler Self, Isaac Rhum, Gage Van Scyoc, Connor Van Scyoc, and Lilah Van Scyoc, one great-grandson, along with several nieces and nephews.

Penny was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Sadie Mae Sneed, two brothers; Steve and Ronnie Jo Sneed, sister Diana Sneed, a son she never got to bring home Steven Ray Rhum, and her late husband Delbert Moss.

A private burial was held on August 8, 2024, at Beech Grove Cemetery. A celebration of Life will be held in her honor at a later date. The family will invite friends and more family when the celebration approaches.
