Philip L. Burchnell, 71, passed away at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital on January 13, 2023. Philip was born on June 5, 1951, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Lee and Patsy (Abshire) Burchnell.

Philip enjoyed Writing, he was a published author known by P.L. Burchnell, his book called Sword of Light, he enjoyed swords and fencing, and was also a member of Ring of Steel Theatre and Stunt Troupe.

Preceding him in death were Parents, Lee and Patsy Burchnell, sister Roxanna Hensley, and brother-in-law Forest (Mic) Hensley.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary, on Saturday, January 28, 2023. Visitation will begin at 12:00 and service will start at 2:00 PM. Pastor Rusty Clements will be officiating.
