Richard Lee Wright Jr., age 59, of Muncie, passed away Tuesday, September 13th, 2022 at his residence following a short illness. He was born April 16th,1963 in Muncie to Richard L. Wright Sr. of Muncie and the late Rena P. ( Blankenship ) Wright.

He was a lifelong resident of Muncie and worked most of his life as a Roofer and did various types of Construction work for companies and also self-employed. He was a past member of Eagles Aerie #231 of Muncie.

Richard is survived by his father, Richard L. Wright Sr. and Step-mother Pat; two daughters, Amanda (Husband- Jesse) Mansfield and Angel( Husband-Jennings) Chambers both of Muncie; one son, Rickie   (wife-Margo) Moyer of Ocala, Florida; Nine grandchildren  including, Ja'len, Jesse, Elijah ,Amara, Annie, Alayna, Maliegha, Makiah, Majennicka; Two sisters, Julie (husband-Scott) Replogle and Patricia (husband-George) Adams, life-long companion; Ladean Houston along with her children and grandchildren that gave him the name Papaw.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Friday September 16th,2022 at the Parson Mortuary located 801 W. Adams st. Muncie , with Pastor Mike Gors  officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 AM till service time at Mortuary. Family has chosen Cremation to follow.
