Robert Allen Weber,79, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday afternoon, October 19,2022 at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on August 25, 1943 in Bellwood, Illinois the son of Lester and Stella (Dombrowski) Weber.

Robert graduated from Selma High School in 1961 and later worked as an inspector for Chevrolet for eleven years while serving for a time as the Fire Chief for the Liberty Township Selma Fire Dept.   Eventually he served the City of Muncie Fire Department as a Fire Fighter for thirty-two years prior to his retirement in 2006.   He was a member of the Selma Lions Club, enjoyed antiquing and was known to be a strong Christian in his faith.

Survivors include two sons, Vaughn Weber (Cindy), Daleville and Johnny Weber, Muncie; one daughter, Melinda Pierce (Jimmy), Mulberry, Florida; nine grandchildren, Kori-Ann Curtis (Bronson), Tavia Smedley (Jacob), Cinder Davis (Kaleb), Hunter North (Alex), Zannah Weber, Kimber Bauer (Austin), Shayna Pierce, Eliah Pierce and Jantsen Pierce; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jim Weber.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Parson Mortuary at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Scott McClain officiating.  Cremation will follow.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
