Robert Allen Welling, 49, passed away on January 14, 2024, at his residence in Muncie, Indiana.  Robert was born to Robert Welling Jr and Teressa (Copeland) Minton, on January 31, 1974, in Muncie.

Robert graduated from Muncie Southside High School and went into the concrete business.  He was locally known as one of the best concrete finishers in the area.  Robert loved to fish and play pool.  He was known for being stubborn, but also for being happy and for his laughter.  He was described by his sister as her "hero."

He is survived by his mother, Teressa Minton, Stepfather Archie Minton, brother, Mike Welling, sister Tracey Welling, his fiancé, Crystal Lawrence and his bonus children Brandon, Ashley, Cheyene, Makayla, grandson Malikye, and granddaughter Thalia as well as grandmother Jetta Fulmer.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Welling Jr, grandparents Robert Sr and Ellie Welling, and grandfather Bob Fulmer.

Robert will be cremated with no services.  The cremation will be handled by Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center.
