Rodney Scott Tinch, 38, left this life late Sunday evening, July 30, 2023, at his residence following a brief illness.  He was born on August 15, 1984, in Muncie the son of James Rodney Tinch and Carolyn Layman.

Rodney graduated from Southside High School in 2002 and later worked as a Service Advisor for the former Bill McCoy Ford later, known as Greg Hubler Ford for, approximately 10 years.   He was a very devoted father to his children and enjoyed being with them whenever possible.  He enjoyed fishing and playing Gus Macker Basketball.

Survivors include 2 children, Addison and Grayson Tinch both at home; his mother, Carolyn Layman (Daniel), Muncie; his father, James Rodney Tinch, Arkansas; 2 sisters, Rhonda Layman, Muncie and Leslie Wilson (Brent), South Whitley, Indiana; 1 brother, Daniel Mullins, Bradenton, Florida; 3 nephews, Austin Sorrell, Muncie and Alex and Cody Wilson both of South Whitley, Indiana; a special aunt, Rosie "Dody" Brady, Muncie

Cremation has been chosen with a private family gathering at a later date.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
