Roy Edward Jackson, 78, of Muncie, Indiana passed away October 3, 2023, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born on November 16, 1944, in Muncie, Indiana to Evert and Mary Jackson.

Roy's hobbies include dirt track racing, he raced sprint cars for over 20 years, and he loved spending time with his family and friends at the lake house, fishing, and hunting. Roy was a graduate of Harrison Township in 1962, then worked at Textron for over 25 years, and he ran R&M Machining for over 20 years; He was proud to be a business owner.

Roy is survived by his son Steven (Sheline) Jackson, grandchildren; Seth (Megan) Jackson, and Jordan Jackson, step-grandchildren; Chris (Amanda) Mink, Ryan Mink, and Drew Mink, great grandchildren; Colton, Eli, Axel, Peyton, and Oliver.

He was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Jackson, his parents Evert and Mary, his brother Rex Jackson, and his beloved dog Brandi.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at Parson Mortuary with John Long and Rodney Eiler officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Jones Cemetery.
