Ruby C. Tester, loving mother, and grandmother, went to her heavenly home early Monday morning, July 24, 2023, at Cedar Creek, formerly Lynd Place in Muncie, Indiana. She was born on November 13, 1944, the daughter of Melvin B. and Leta R. (Neal) Howard. Ruby graduated from Muncie Central High School in the class of 1962. A few years later, she married Bob Williamson and had two children, Robin Y. (Williamson) Cummings and Melvin W. Williamson. She later found the love of her life, Frank J. Tester, and the two of them married in 1975. Ruby and Frank were members of The True Light Baptist Church. Ruby enjoyed spending time with her family, had a special love for dogs, and was a great cook. Survivors include 1 daughter and 1 son, Robin Cummings (husband Bret) and Melvin Williamson (Abby), both of Muncie: 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren: 3 sisters, Helen R. (Howard) Jones, Muncie, Ramona (Brown) Rechtin (husband Tim), Florence, KY, Freda (Brown) Wade, and 1 brother Jerry Brown (wife Doris). She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Howard, mother, Leta (Howard) Brown, and her husband, Frank Tester. Ruby's services will be Friday, July 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM at  Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, Muncie, IN 47305.  Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
