Rusty Duane Withrow, 68, unexpectedly passed away at his home in Muncie, Indiana, on August 7, 2026.  Rusty was born on August 26, 1957, in Muncie, the son of Floyd and Alberta (Herron) Withrow.

Rusty graduated from Muncie Southside High School and went on to serve his country in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army.  He worked at various jobs over his lifetime, most recently at Goodwill Industries.

Rusty met the love of his life at a Walmart store in Florida.  He pursued her for eight years before Beverly finally said "yes" to being his wife.  They were happily married for fourteen years before his passing.  He was a loving, caring man who will be greatly missed.  In his family's eyes, he was the perfect man.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Beverly Withrow; a niece, Leslie Bays (Daryl); a nephew, Corey Herron; a sister-in-law, Darlene Miles; and his best friends, Carla and Jeff Crossland.  He is also survived by his great-nieces, Sheridan, Ellianah, and Dalilah, and great-nephew, Carter, and one great-great-niece, Aria.

Per his wishes, Rusty will be cremated with no formal services.
