Shannon Lee Wormer, 46, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his home in Muncie, Indiana. Shannon was born on January 11, 1977, and was adopted by his loving parents, Ralph D. (Darrell), and Crystal (Whitmire) Wormer as a small child. Shannon attended Muncie schools and graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 1995. Shannon is survived by his son, Brayden Wormer, his siblings, Randy Wormer (wife, Rita), Blountsville, IN; Mike Wormer (wife, Marcia), Columbus, IN; and Lori Ramsey (husband, Reeder), of Muncie, IN. He is also survived by his nephews Brandon Wormer (wife, Dawn), Columbus, IN; and Nick Ramsey (wife, Meghan), Brian Ramsey (wife, Annie), and niece Sara Holt (husband, Kyle) all of Muncie, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Cynthia Lynn Wormer; a brother, Jeffrey Allen Wormer, and his niece, Malia Wormer. A private graveside service will be held to honor Shannon's life at Elm Ridge Cemetery on Monday, September 25, 2023, with Pastors Kevin, and Kyle Holt officiating. Burial will follow.
