Sharron Bernice Beaty, 87, passed away at her Muncie, Indiana, home on August 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.  Sharron was born the daughter of Robert Leroy and Jessie Virginia (Hammond) Barton on April 5, 1939, in Muncie, Indiana.

Sharron attended area Muncie schools and worked at Westinghouse and at Indiana Bell as a supervisor in the janitorial department.  In addition, she was a licensed beautician.

Sharron was a loving family woman, with a mischievous side that liked to play pranks on family and friends.  She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and canning the vegetables from the garden.  Mostly, she loved taking care of her husband, Harold, and her children and grandchildren.

She leaves behind her children, Katherine Watson, Bart Redwine (Autumn), and Dodi Guess (Terry), a brother, Dannie Barton, and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sharron was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Beaty, her parents, Robert and Jessie Barton, and several brothers.

Private family services will be held, with burial to follow.
