Shirley Jean Beagle, 83, passed away in Greenfield, Indiana on May 8, 2023.  Shirley was born on October 5, 1939, the daughter of Daniel and Rainey (Smith) Logan, in Littrell, Kentucky.  She attended local schools before marrying the love of her life Jim Beagle in 1957.  They were married for 46 years before his death.

Shirley was well known for keeping her yard clean and tidy and her house was spotless.  Friends and relatives that would visit always looked forward to her famous carrot cake or her special homemade tacos!  She was a member of Greenfield Church of Christ and had a strong and genuine love for God.

Left behind to cherish her memories are her son, Larry Beagle (Sheri), sisters, Betty Logan and Ruby Riddle, as well as very special great-niece Chasity Scott.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim Beagle, brothers Paul Logan, and J.D. Logan, and sisters, Mallie Roach, Dean Haupt, and Bonnie Scott.

Services will be Friday, May 19, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Parson Mortuary, 801 W. Adams Street, Muncie, Indiana.  Friends may call on the family from 11:00 noon until the time of service.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
