Starling Lee Snyder, 64, left this life on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  He was born on January 23, 1959, in Galion, Ohio the son of Eldon Snyder and Dianna Janet (Barr) Snyder.

Starling attended Muncie Community Schools and later married his wife Teresa (King) Snyder in 1988 and she preceded him in death in 2014.  Mr. Snyder had worked as a truck driver for Carter Express for over 30 years prior to his disability.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union and enjoyed model trains, hunting, and fishing.  Starling treasured being with his family the most.

Survivors include 3 sons, Floyd David Snyder (Tabitha), Michael Lee Snyder, and Aaron Matthew Snyder all of Muncie; Stepchildren, Gary Stevens (Dawn) and Christina Stevens, both of Muncie; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Tammy Shirley (Marty) Caledonia, Ohio; several nephews; companion, Lucinda (Cindi) Fisher, Muncie.

Besides his wife of 26 years, Teresa, he was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Raymond Snyder.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 5:00 P.M.  at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Ann Chambers officiating.  Cremation is to follow.  Private family burial of cremated remains to take place at the Caledonia, Ohio Cemetery at a later date.

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 3:30 P.M. until the time of service.
