Steven Ross Mellott, age 41, entered into eternal rest on June 12, 2023, at IU Ball Hospital following an extended illness. Steven was born February 23, 1982, in Muncie Indiana to Howard Earl and Linda L. (Keesling) Mellott.

He graduated from Muncie Central High School in 2000 and later graduated from Indiana Business College. He worked at Ross and Marsh Supermarkets for several years working in many departments. He enjoyed camping with his family at Kamp Modoc in his youth, he loved working on computers and playing video games, he was also a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and had a blast celebrating with his brother Bob when they finally won the World Series.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Linda, brothers; Timothy (Tim Hunter), Bob, nephew Owen (Abbie) Hunter, Aunt Nila Cope, uncles; Herbert (Thelma) and Barton (Helen) Mellott, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Earl, and brother Michael Edward.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, starting at 11:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory after the service.
