Timothy Raymond Getz, age 81, passed away at Indiana University Ball Memorial Hospital on January 1, 2023.  Timothy was born on October 30, 1941, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Leo R. and Georgia (Quate) Getz.  He graduated from Muncie Central High School.

Timothy married the love of his life, Marilyn (Robold), and they were married for 60 years.  He worked for Irving Materials driving a concrete truck as well as sawing concrete in the evenings. He was a member of Teamsters Local 135 and a member of the Moose Lodge.  Timothy was a very hard worker, working from sun up until sun down to provide for his wife and two daughters.  He liked gospel and country music.   He also enjoyed boating, fishing, camping with family and friends, and time spent in Florida in the Winter.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Marilyn, two daughters; Jennifer (Jay) Huser and Gay Chambless, grandchildren; Joshua (Megan) Huser, Jannaye Huser, Benjamin (Sarah) Robinson, and Maggie (Dylan) Oliphant, and 3 great-granddaughters.  In addition, he is survived by his brother James Getz, brother and sister-in-law Dan and Norma Lambert as well as several nieces and nephews. Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Janice Parker and Ronald F. Getz.

Services will be held at Parson Mortuary, 801 West Adams, Muncie, on January 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM.  Friends may call from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.  Pastor Rusty Clements will be officiating.
