Trokon Henry Kwekwe 37, of Muncie IN passed away on September 19, 2023.  Born on April 23, 1986, in Buchanan, Liberia.  Born to James Kwekwe Sr. and Marie Marshall.  He began his early school years in Liberia, Ivory Coast, and Ghana when his family was displaced by a Civil War in Liberia.

Everywhere the family settled, did nothing to dampen the free-spirited Trokon's zest for education, the outdoors, and playing soccer with his brothers, and God.  In 2003 Trokon and his family emigrated to the United States where they made Muncie their new home.  Trokon attended Muncie Central High School and graduated.  After a few old jobs, he obtained his certification and worked as a CNA

Trokon's world of bliss revolved around his love for people, be they strangers, acquaintances, or family.  The mix of his peculiar laughter ambling about.  He was a kind and courageous soul.  Leisure and recreation for Trokon were playing soccer, writing, and composing hip-hop music.  He also sang.  The release of his first album marked him as a local musician.

Though he later battled mental illness which stripped him of certain activities, he still fought hard to clench onto the two most important things; his faith in God and constant love for music.  Everywhere Trokon went, so did his Bible and his bebop.  Survivors are Marcus (son), Aniyah (daughter), Jordan (son), Marie (mother), Elaine (sister), Prince (brother), Yujah (brother), James (brother), Yvonne (sister), and Marie (sister). He was proceeded in death by his father, James Kwekwe Sr

"Trokon, even though you are no longer here with us, we will always remember and cherish the days we spent with you, and always remember the laughter you brought into our lives and cared for our mother.  We will always miss you dearly and your legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all your loved ones".

You may be gone but you are not and will not be forgotten.  RIP in Trokon for you are now resting in the Lord's arms.  Death is not the end, it is the beginning of a new life with your Heavenly Father.  "Trokon, I miss you and you will always be in my heart till we meet again," from your lovely mother.

Services will be on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at 2:30 p.m. at Beechgrove Cemetery.
