Wilma J.  (Jane) Moss, 75, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.  She was born on May 10, 1947, in Muncie the daughter of Jesse Earl and Ava Elizabeth (Pyles) Moss.

Wilma graduated from Muncie Central High school in 1965, later attended Ball State University, and finally graduated from the University of Tennessee in Nashville with a Bachelor's Degree.  She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter #712.  Ms. Moss worked as the secretary in the Human Resources Dept. of Aero Forge and worked part-time for Kohls.  Jane was an avid reader and studied genealogy.  In fact, she was considered the family historian.  Writing letters and visiting relatives were also some of her favorite past times.

Survivors include one brother, Steven Moss (Maribeth), Ft. Wayne; one sister, Debbie Kay Moss, Denver, Colorado; two nieces, Christie Moss and Lynda Moss; one great niece and one great nephew, Rylee and Brady Sharp, Ft. Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Kathy Ben-Dov.

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Albert Reiffitt officiating.  Private burial will follow at Gardens of Memory north of Muncie later the next week.

Friends may call Parson Mortuary on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
