Funeral services celebrating the life of Adam Gene Hargis will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021at 6:00 pm at Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center 801 West Adams Street Muncie, Indiana. Officiating will be Bro James McCowan, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center Muncie, Indiana.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm until service time at the funeral home.

He is survived by his 7 children, Preston Hargis, Kaitlyn Hargis, Peyton Hargis, Keaton Brock, Kirsten Hargis, Adam Hargis II, Autumn Hargis, father, Steve Simpkins, mother, Fredia Hargis, one brother, John David Hargis, wife Amy, one sister, DeaCha Hargis companion, Kim, aunt Cheryl Simpkins, grandma, Morris, grandma, Rosanna Simpkins, 2 nephews, Trinton Ogle, Josh Ogle, special friend, Summer Dixon, ex-wife, and friend, Ashley West, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Winfred Simpkins, aunt, Jenny Tracy, uncle, Dick Tracy, uncle Earl Beaty, grandpa James Beaty and other relatives and friends.

Adam Gene Hargis was born on Saturday, January 29, 1983 to Steve Simpkins and Fredia Hargis, and passed away from this life on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at his residence in Muncie, Indiana at the age of 38. Adam loved his family and his 7 children, he loved to cook and grill out for his family and friends, he loved to play all different kinds of sports, the Chicago Cubs and the Indianapolis Colts were his two favorite teams. He loved to play all different kinds of video games and he will be deeply missed by all.
