Alberta F. Gentz

Alberta F. McFadden Gentz, 77, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on May 10, 2024, surrounded by friends and family.  She was born on January 29, 1947, in Kankakee, IL to Albert and Opal (Shelton) Ownbey.

Alberta attended Westside Baptist Church in Muncie, IN, and loved her family.

She is survived by her children; Robert (Bob) Carl Nelson (Angie) of Muncie, IN,  Elizabeth Jean (Betty) Nelson of Daleville, IN, Edward Albert (Ted) Nelson of Muncie, IN, and Todd Wayne McFadden of Muncie, IN, grandchildren; Jackie Harrington (Dewayne), Christopher Privett, Kris Foster, Brandon May, Erin McFadden (James), and Darren Borror (Alexis), 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren,   brother; Larry Ownbey of Illinois, sister; Sharon Napier of California, Aunt; Marge Alder, Uncle; Robert Themer, and special friend; Nickie Brannon Osborne

She was preceded in death by her first husband; Mac McFadden jr, second husband; Robert C. Gentz, her parents; Albert and Opal Ownbey, stepmother; Deloris Ownbey, sisters; Pat Smith, Nancy Wolford, and Cheryl Villagomez, and granddaughter; Faith McFadden  

Funeral Services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, May 16, 2024. Visitation will be held at 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Larry Waters.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
