Allen Leslie Horn Obituary

Allen L. Horn, 69, of Muncie, IN, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1955, the son of Orville and Zella (Adams) Horn.

Allen spent his life in Muncie, where he worked at Feeny Manufacturing for many years. In his younger years, he loved running around town in his dune buggies or on a motorcycle. Allen also
enjoyed demolition derbies, hot summer days, going to rummage sales and auctions, listening to his police scanner, and watching the cars cruise on Madison Street, but there’s nothing he
loved more than his dogs, Bucky and Kitty. Allen was quite the character with his matter-of-fact way of saying things and his ornery sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his friends and
loved ones.

Surviving relatives include two sons, Andy Horn and Joey Horn, his dedicated niece, Melissa (Jones) Elgan, his companion, Darla Johnson, and his dear friend, Wendell Brubaker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Michael Horn, a daughter, Amy Horn, and two sisters, Teresa (Horn) Jones and Penny (Holland) Hershberger.

A brief graveside ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie.
