Angela Kay Mote

Angela Kay Mote, 59, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Indiana University Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie following a long illness. She was born on June 2, 1966, to Tom and Sharon.

Angela enjoyed watching old television shows, playing games on her phone, and spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren. She loved having company and was a proud homebody who enjoyed showing off her tattoos.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony Mote; her son, Steffon Mote (Felicia); her beloved grandchildren, Leon, Laylaa, Khi, Tylar, Isabella, Olivia, Braxton, Brooklyn, Railynn, and Aiden; her brother, Brian Miller; and her father, Tom Lyster.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon, and her sister, Brandi Hodge.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Ambassador in Centerville and The Woodlands for their care and support during her stays.
