Ann Marie Nichols, 69, passed away on December 24, 2023, at Indian University Ball Memorial Hospital.  Ann was born on January 24, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of William and Vivian (Wehlge) Disinger. 

Ann graduated from Muncie Southside High School and went on to work for Indiana Glass of Dunkirk, Indiana.  Ann had a genuine love for helping people, having grown up in turbulent times in Muncie.  Ann did not let the racial barriers of the times influence her, helping all in need, no matter what others said.  If someone needed help, Ann provided love and support.  She also had an unwavering love for her family, especially her many grandchildren.  Her happiest times were spent with her grandchildren and traveling.

Ann is survived by her three sons, Aaron, Chris, and Bo; grandchildren Aaron Michael Burris, Honestly and Denisa Ramey, and Tucker, Wyatt, Brenlee, and Gracee Burris, as well as Olivia and McKenna Nichols.  She also leaves behind two sisters, Jane Disinger and Susan Ward, great-nephews Peyton and Jason Ratliff, and great-niece Gracie Dalton.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband Richard Nichols and one son, Michael Nichols.

Per her wishes, Ann will be cremated and there will be no services.  In the spirit of Ann, the family asks that you share your love and compassion with all of the world!
