Annetta Marie (Huser) Bennett

Annetta Marie Bennett passed away on May 25, 2026. Annetta was born on June 16, 1944, to Netta (Bronnenburg) and William Huser. She graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1962 and continued her education at Indiana Business College. Annetta worked at Ball Memorial Hospital for several years doing medical transcription before moving on to retire from Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation.

Annetta married the love of her life, Novy "Doyle" Bennett, on April 11, 1965, and they had four children together. She was a loving wife and mother. Annetta enjoyed crazy adventures with her children, family dinners, and watching her children and grandchildren grow up. In the more recent years, Annetta enjoyed the back-and-forth nitpicking with her grandson (even though she "complained" about it). Annetta worked hard to provide for her family, to be supportive, and to teach her children to be loving and kind, but not to allow anyone to take advantage. Annetta would defend any one of her kids, even if they were in the wrong.

Annetta is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Bennett and Michael Bennett; her daughter, Karen Bennett; her grandchildren, Heather Davis, Jordan Bennett, and Matthew Bennett; and her great-grandchildren, Kyle Davis, Jr. and Madison Allen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Novy “Doyle” Bennett; her daughter, Catherine Bennett; her parents and grandparents. 

Graveside services will be held at Elm Ridge on June 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.  Arrangements made by Parson Mortuary
