Arvazean "Sue" Kinnett Obituary

In the afternoon hours of March 5, 2025, Arvazean "Sue" Kinnett, a loving wife, devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this world after a courageous battle with cancer. Sue fought this with every ounce of strength possible. She wanted more than anything to stay in this world to help watch over her family, she LOVED them so very much. A graduate of Eastbrook High School (seven-game tetherball champion undefeated). Sue married her high school sweetheart, from a different high school, Michael, and they just had celebrated fifty years together in September. Sue raised three children, and her home was always busy with grandchildren and family.

The best cook in the family, everyone always looked forward to Thanksgiving dinners. She was a fantastic crafter, spending hours and hours on Facetime with her sister Diana creating one-of-a-kind projects. Sue and Michael spent the last thirty years together doing things she enjoyed from trips to Florida, California, Nevada, and Chicago, or maybe just an occasional hug from Eric Estrada, while he was in town, was her favorite.

Leaving to cherish her memory, children; Kimberly (Brian), Michell (Kent), Michael Jr., grandchildren; Zachary (Shay), Chandler (Kayleigh), Hannah (Andrew), Brandon, her brother, Jesse Sr. (Connie), sisters; Jeniece (John), and Diana (Rick), and countless great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceded in death by brothers; Coy, Leroy, and sister Rosetta.

Visitation will be held at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation before. Burial will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
