Ashley (Buckles) Hill

Ashley Buckles Hill, 42, passed into Heaven on March 25, 2026, following a lengthy illness. Ashley was born in Muncie, Indiana, on December 26, 1983. She graduated in 2002 from Wapahani High School, where she was active in Volleyball and Cheerleading.

She was later employed with GM in Ft Wayne, Indiana, for several years. Growing up, Ashley spent a lot of her childhood with her grandparents, and she was pre-deceased by her grandfather, William (Bill) Bales.

Surviving are four children: Titus Hill, Micah Hill, Jael Hill, and Lilah Grubbs, all of Muncie. Her mother, Gretchen Bales of Selma; her grandmother, Naida Bales of Mooreland; Aunt Lisa Moles (husband, Lloyd) of Parker City; and Uncle Tony Bales (Karen) of Mooreland. Also surviving are several cousins, along with two great aunts, Sondra Oakerson, Losantville, and Martha Griffin (Larry), Muncie.

A celebration of life will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. with prayer and remembrance at 5:00 p.m., Fairlawn Church of Christ, 6108 W. Bethel Ave, Muncie, IN 47304.
