Aubrey Raye Coffey, sadly, left this world at the tender age of 10, on August 14, 2025, at her Selma, Indiana, home. The daughter of Nathan Coffey and Lauren Coffey, she was born on July 23, 2015, in Muncie, Indiana.
Aubrey was a beautiful child whose infectious spirit and energy were loved by all who knew her. She loved cartoons of all kinds, spending time playing with her brother and sister, and spreading her love to those around her. Aubrey was a fifth grader at Monroe Central Elementary School in Selma.
Aubrey was a bright light in our lives, born with unique needs and a spirit that knew no limits. Though she faced many challenges, she met each day with a smile and precious giggles that melted hearts and a courage that inspired everyone around her. She taught us the true meaning of resilience, joy, and unconditional love.
She loved Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Snoopy, climbing in mommy’s chair to be held and falling asleep, riding the carousel at Kings Island, playing and splashing in water with her siblings, and coming to anyone with food on their plate to get a bite, even though she had her own. Her presence brought warmth and perspective to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Whether through a simple gesture, a shared moment of eye contact, or the quiet strength she carried, Aubrey connected deeply with those around her in ways that words never could.
She is survived by her parents, Nathan Coffey (Courtney) and Lauren Coffey, her loving siblings, Alex Coffey (12), Alyssa Coffey (11), Lakota Coffey, and Maddy Manwaring, grandparents Rhonda Evans, Scott Parker, and great-grandparents Elaine and Frederick Parker. In addition, she leaves behind her uncles, Austin Parker, Ian Parker, and Cameron Parker, as well as several cousins, and a wide circle of family, teachers, and friends who cherished her deeply. Each of them played a special role in her life and will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin and Gayle Coffey, and great-grandparents, Rita and Cecil Cheatham.

Though her time with us was short, Aubrey left an indelible mark on the world. She reminded us every day that love needs no words, and that every life—no matter how brief—is beautiful and full of purpose.
She will be forever missed and forever loved.
