Barbara Robbins Obituary

  

Barbara Robbins, 75, passed away the morning of December 5, 2018 in Columbus Ohio. She was born to Margaret and Earl Corn on September 17, 1943 in Muncie Indiana. Barbara was a former resident of Sunman, Fairmount and Fowlerton Indiana.  Barbara married Billie W. Robbins in 1965 and worked for RCA in Marion and Owens Illinois in Gas City for many years before they closed. Barbara was always a supporter of our military having sons who proudly served our country. She appreciated the organization Team Rubicon and the work they do in supporting natural disaster victims. Barbara was a member of Moose Lodge, AMVETS and The American Legion. She enjoyed wildlife, old western movies and watching football.

Surviving Barbara are sons; Bill (Erika) Robbins, Rich Robbins; brother Charles (Mary Kay) Corn; sister Marilyn Reinke; grandchildren Brittany (David) Monsen, Zach Robbins, Jarod Robbins, Alex Robbins, Hope Robbins, Sydnee Robbins; and great-grandchildren Caleb, Conner and Kyler. There are several nieces and nephews that will also miss Barbara.

Preceding her in death are her parents, loving husband Billie; brother Dickie Corn; sisters Judy Corn, Patricia Bonnell and Janice Fawbush.  

Funeral services will be held at Parson Mortuary on Wednesday December, 12 at 1:00p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00p.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Black Cemetery, 12851 N. Black Cemetery Road, Albany Indiana 47320.
