Bernice JoAnn Huser, age 70, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her residence on March 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9, 1954, in Muncie, Indiana, to Jacob and Burnice (Timmons) Minton.

JoAnn found joy in many things, including trips to the lake, spending time with her grandchildren, taking occasional trips to Las Vegas, and enjoying cruises. She was known for being a gracious host during the holidays and cherished being at home with her loved ones. A true hard worker, Jo Ann retired from M&M Bus Company after many years of service as a bus driver. Before that, she worked in various factories and was always busy, never one to sit still.

JoAnn is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Chuck Huser; her children, Wendy Brooks (Mike), Thomas Green (LeAnn), Chuckie Huser, Chad Huser (Mindy), Chiper Huser (Missy), and Chason Huser; her beloved grandchildren, Harleigh Lee (Wes Smith), Tony Lee (Angel), CJ Huser, Maleah Garncia (Isaac), Andrea Hodson, Alexis Green, Jocelyn Huser, and Chaden Huser; and her siblings, Carolyn Swearingen, Clarence Minton (Shirley), Archie Minton (Teresa), Mary Farling (David), and Patty Sherwood (Troy). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Jacob Minton Jr., Nancy McKeighen, Phyllis Preston, Esther Brogan, Vicki West, and Charles Minton Sr., and her grandson, Mason Huser.

A funeral service to honor JoAnn’s life will be held at Parson Mortuary on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Beechgrove Cemetery.
