Betty Ann Logan Obituary

Betty A. Logan, 81, passed from this life Monday evening, August 12, 2024, at her residence following an extended illness.  She was born on January 27, 1943 in Burkesville, Kentucky the daughter of William D. and Rainey (Smith) Logan.


Betty had worked for the Ball Brothers Corporation now known as Jarden Corp. as a machine operator for 38 years until her retirement in 2009.  Miss Logan had enjoyed shopping, working outdoors, following the Pacers and the Colts sports teams.  She especially enjoyed drives out in the country around the reservoir and feeding the neighborhood squirrels. 


Survivors left to cherish her memory include, her sister, Ruby Riddle, Brownsburg, two nieces, Regina Gibson and Theresa Marlow (William); two nephews Phil Roach, and Mike Haupt (Michelle), all of Muncie, Larry Beagle (Sharyn), Greenfield and Mark Riddle (Myrna), Plainfield; several great nieces and nephews and lots of friends.  Betty will be missed by all.


She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Dean Haupt, Shirley Beagle, Bonnie Scott, and Mallie Roach; two brothers, Paul and J.D. Logan.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Michael Riddle officiating.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.


Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. until time of the service.
