Betty Jo Trinkle,92, went home to her Lord, Tuesday morning, September 28, 2021, at the Bethel Point Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was born on March 18, 1929 in Pikeville, Tennessee, the daughter of Robert Hale and Lennie (Simmons) Hale- Frady.
She attended Pikeville Schools and later married the love of her life, Marvin Trinkle on July 2, 1949 in New Castle, Indiana and he preceded her in death in 2012. Mrs. Trinkle had worked as an Assembler for Goodyear Tire & Rubber for a brief time Prior to being a homemaker most of her working life. She was a Charter Member of the Morningside First Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening, and watching religious TV shows. Betty was known to be a devout Bible reader and treasured the times she could spend with her family.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Trinkle (Deborah), LaPorte, Texas; one daughter-in-law, Lynn Haynes, Muncie; four grandchildren; four brothers, Riley Frady (Velma), Will Frady (Fran), Dion Frady (Gayle) and Gene Frady (Freida), Pikeville, Tennessee; one sister, Sammie Cooley, Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sue Frady, Alabama; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband of 63 years, Marvin, she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Trinkle; her parents, two brothers, Charles and Harold Frady; three sisters, Roberta Collier, Reva Waling and Willene J. Morgan; one infant sister, Wilma and one brother-in-law, George Morgan.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021, 1:00 P.M at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Carl Norris officiating. Burial will follow at the Tomlinson Cemetery.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
