Billie Glee Mohler, 88, left this life early Wednesday morning, November 22, 2023, at the Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana following a brief illness.  She was born on August 14, 1935, in Redkey, Indiana the daughter of William and Vivian Demaris (Green) Smith.

Billie attended Royerton Schools and later married the love of her life Samuel Mohler in 1951 in Muncie and he preceded her in death in 2006.    Mrs. Mohler had become a homemaker and later worked as a cook for the Selma Middle School Cafeteria prior to her retirement.  She enjoyed playing cards, going to casinos, bowling, and family time with her sons and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy D. Mohler (Michael Sorter), Greenfield and Gary Mohler (Sharon), Greenfield; three grandchildren, Cameron Mohler (fiancé Kristen) and Karsyn Mohler, both of Indianapolis and Noah Mohler, Greenfield; one sister, Kay Bradburn (Larry), Muncie; two brothers, Pat Smith (Peggy) and Eddie Mohler (Janet), both of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 54 years, Samuel, she is also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Maxine Reynolds.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be taking place on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 3:30 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary.  Cremation has been chosen. Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.
