Billy Gilbert Young, 71, of Muncie, Indiana passed away May 25, 2024, at Indiana University Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born on August 2, 1952, in Barrier, Kentucky to Andy and Ada (Gregory)Young.

Billy married the love of his life, Brenda Sue Young, on December 31, 1971, and they shared fifty-two wonderful years together. He retired from Waste Management after 34 years and enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, and cars. 

Survivors include his loving wife, Brenda Sue Young; children, Andy Young, Jay (Anna) Young, Melissa Coffman; grandchildren Billy, Andrea, Allyson, Breyanna, Victor, Malea, Haley, Lee, and Keegan; siblings, Louise (Joe) Cook, Veda Slaven, Betty Resler, and Bobby Young. 

He was preceded in passing by his parents; brothers, Floyd Young, and Karl Young. 

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Tomlinson Cemetery.
