Billy Kay Young

Billy Kay Young was born on Saturday, May 19, 1945 and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May, 18, 2021 in Anderson Indiana where he lived. He was a member of Glad Tidings Church in Muncie Indiana for many years, serving the Lord was very important to him along with spending time with the love of his life Jill and the their children, family was very important to him, he loved to go camping, boating, golfing and enjoyed cooking and grilling food on the grill, mowing the yard was another thing he enjoyed doing he loved it so well he would not let the kids mow when they were younger, in his spare time he loved to relax and watch his favorite westerns on television, John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Jimmy Stewart was his favorite actors, planting flowers in the front of the house every spring is what he and Jill did together, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memories include, wife of 40 years, Jill Young, son, Ryan Caudill, fiancé, Rachael Smith, son, Aaron Caudill, daughter, Kimberly Hancock, and husband, Richard, daughter, Angela Threet and husband, Tim, sister, Anna Ruth Cooper, and husband, Ronnie, sister, Kathleen Price, 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Cassidy, Brandon, Travis, Tristan, Ashley, Shanna, and one great grandson, Kayson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Young, mother, Zella Ball Young, three brothers, Howard Young, Willard Young, Dillard Young, and 3 sisters, Mildred Gregory, Jean Thompson, and Oneida Price.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Billy Kay Young will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Glad Tidings Church 3001 South Burlington Drive, Muncie, Indiana, Officiating will be Bro. Kevin Holt, interment will follow in the Hawk Cemetery in Yorktown, Indiana, under the direction of Parson Mortuary and Cremation Center, Muncie, Indiana.

Visitation for friends will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 11:00 am until service time at the Glad Tidings Church, Muncie, Indiana.

Pallbearers will be, Ryan Caudill, Aaron Caudill, Matthew Armstrong, Marc Armstrong, Dave Caudill, and Tim Peters.

Memorials may be made to Glad Tidings Church, Muncie, Indiana in honor of Billy Kay Young.
