Bobby Eugene Jones, 79, passed away at his residence on April 23, 2024.  Bobby was born on March 22, 1945, in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of Dock and Julie (Hicks) Jones.
Following his graduation from Muncie Central, Bobby worked at various foundry jobs, before gaining employment with General Motors, where he retired from.  Bobby loved to fish,  gambling at the casino, and loved horse racing.  Perhaps his biggest joy and love was for his family.  He was the caretaker to not only his wife and children but also any relative who needed help.  One cannot talk about Bobby without mentioning his love for dogs, especially one corgi named Abraham.
Bobby leaves behind two sons, Robert Jones and James Daughtery, one daughter, Barbara Campbell, a sister, Lois Eller (Ron), a niece, Pam Evans, as well as nephews Jeff Brown and Shane Eller, and great-niece and nephew Carley White and Brandon Jefferson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of thirty years, Wanda,  daughter, Jackie Carr, brother, Gerald Jones (Nancy),  sisters, Betty Evans (Clyde) and June Brown (Norman), and niece, Kim Brown.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM, at Parson Mortuary, in Muncie.  Friends may call on family from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie.
