It is with heavy hearts, we announce the death of our son and loving brother, Branden Allen Paul Smith,32, after he passed away peacefully at home on May 14, 2025.

Branden was born in Muncie on January 10, 1993, to loving parents Robert and Debbie Smith(Brewer). He graduated from Muncie Southside High School in 2011. He loved fishing and hunting with his father and camping with his family. In his spare time, he loved to work on his SUV and play the occasional video game when he wasn’t cooking on his family’s Blackstone.

He was a hard worker who made friends no matter where he went. For most, he looked like a scary giant, but to his family and friends, he was a gigantic teddy bear.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Sarah and Richard Brewer, and paternal grandparents Iva and Norman Smith.

2 great aunts, Shirley Trammell and Eleanor Shaw, cousin James Trammell, and his 4-legged best friend, Sammy Jo.

Remaining to cherish his memory are his parents, Robert and Debbie Smith, sister Cassie (Logan), several aunts, great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and beloved friends. Branden will be cremated, no official services at this time, with a celebration of life to follow at a later date and time.
