Brayden Daniel Barnhouse

Brayden Daniel Barnhouse, 19, tragically lost his life on October 24, 2023, in Union City, Indiana. Brayden was born on February 24, 2004, in Muncie, Indiana, the son of Christopher Barnhouse and Danielle West. He attended local schools and worked for various factories in the area. Brayden had a variety of interests and hobbies. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games, and watching the Lakers, Bulls, and Buc’s play basketball. He had a love of all things Christmas and a passion for Christmas movies. He would often talk about his love of food with his family and friends, especially street tacos! 

Of all the things that were important to Brayden, his family was of the utmost importance, even those who were not related by blood. He had a genuine love and caring for his nieces and nephews, spending time with them whenever he could. 

Brayden is survived by his father and stepmother Christopher and Larryn Barnhouse, his mother Danielle West, stepfather Shawn Goodwin, Godmother Mickie Hood, and grandparents Ben and Dawn Barnhouse, Linda Johnson, and Jenny Reum. In addition, he leaves behind his brothers, 

Austin, Nathaniel, Wyatt, Nicholas Barnhouse, and Christopher Warfel; sisters Mackenzie and Kristen Barnhouse, Kayla Carter, Taylor McKinley, and Shayla and Zaenna Goodwin; as well as several nieces, nephews, family, and friends. 

He was preceded in death by grandparents Nancy Barnhouse, Larry Johnson, and Danny West. Services will be on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 12:30 PM at Parson Mortuary in Muncie Indiana. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie
