Bruce Leonard Starr Obituary

Bruce L Starr was found passed away at his home on November 29. 2024. He was born on August 12, 1953 to James L and Helen J (Shatto) Starr. Bruce was not blessed with children, but he had a special fur child, a cat named Oscar. Sadly, Oscar was also found passed away on the same day.


Bruce has previously worked at Indiana Glass, Littler Die Cast, and ended his working days at Cooper Farms, which is where he retired from after more than 30 years of service.


Bruce is survived by two brothers, Richard Starr, Winchester, and Terry Ellis (Karla), Warsaw. He is also survived by two sisters, Glenda Sue Frye, Florida, and Patricia Fields, Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, James Michael Starr, and three sisters, Penny (Wise) Eads, Sharon (Wise) Wilson and Shirley (Wise) Shaner.


There are no services planned at this time. Cremation will be performed for Bruce at Parson Mortuary in Muncie Indiana. Oscar’s cremation will be at Albany Veterinary Clinic. In lieu of flowers, please make any desired donations to Albany Veterinary Clinic to help cover the cremation of Oscar.
