Carolyn Jo (Bybee) Adams

Carolyn J. (Bybee) Adams, 77, went home to be with her Lord on Friday evening, May 6, 2022 at the Brickyard Health Care Center of Muncie following an extended illness.  She was born on November 21, 1944 in Muncie.

Carolyn graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1963 and later married Rev. Billy Adams in 2010 and he survives.  Mrs. Adams had worked for Target Dept. Store for 38 years as a manager and then after retirement she worked for the Ministrista Center as a Cook in their catering department.  She had been a Pastor’s wife in addition to being a member of the Pauline Avenue Church of God for many years.

Besides her husband of twelve years, Billy she is survived by four daughters, Mary Jo Pollard (Harvie), Cindy Nelson, and Gina Richardson (Chris) all of Muncie and Aleesa Mastin (Jerry), Albany; two sons, Billy D. Adams (Lisa) and Jody Adams (Vicki), both of Muncie; fourteen grandchildren; 24.5 great grandchildren; one brother, Darwin Bybee, Dallas, Texas area; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Nelda Bybee; one son-in-law, Roy Gene Nelson; one sister-in-law, Jackie Bybee.

Funeral services will be held at the Pauline Ave. Church of God located at 2800 N. Pauline Ave. Muncie, IN 47303 on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Ed Bowman officiating.  Burial will follow at the Eaton Union Cemetery in Eaton, Indiana.  Parson Mortuary Cremation Center is entrusted with these arrangements.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service.
