Carolyn s. Bower

Carolyn S. Bower, 67, went to her heavenly home early Tuesday evening, November 9, 2021 at her residence following a brief illness.   She was born on November 29, 1953 in Winchester, Indiana the daughter of Joseph and Delores (Jenks) Keener. 

Carolyn received her diploma from the Career Center and married the love of her life, John Bower on July 13, 1980 and he preceded her in death 2019.  Mrs. Bower was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Holder, Muncie; her mother, Delores Keener, Union City, Indiana; three grandchildren, Christopher Puente, Jennifer Puente and Cheyenne Puente; Six sisters, Kathy West (Larry), Penny Timmerman (Steve), Joann Fenning (Mark), Becky Bowers (Mark), Susie Williams and Jennifer Huff (Dan); Twenty-one nieces and nephews; twenty-three great nieces and nephews; two great great nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband of 19 years, John, she is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Keener; her sister, Betty Hufford; her brother, Steve Keener.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November18, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Parson Mortuary with Pastor Linda McBride officiating.  Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery

Friends may call at Parson Mortuary on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.
